Is Therapy Covered by Insurance?
Most insurance plans will cover medically necessary therapy services that are provided by a licensed physical or occupational therapist. We accept a wide range of popular insurance plans including Medicare, Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield (excluding Unity Point plans), Medicaid, Medicare Advantage plans, and many more. We are out of network with United Healthcare and its affiliates (i.e. Golden Rule, UMR, Surest) and Medica Inspire.
What if my insurance is Out of Network?
Out-of-Network Insurance Benefits: Your insurance plan may still cover a large portion of your therapy costs if you have “out-of-network” benefits for occupational and physical therapy. You can call your insurance company and ask them for your out-of-network benefits.
Please let us know if you would like us to help you determine what your out-of-network benefits are.
Health Savings Accounts: Physical therapy and occupational therapy are eligible for reimbursement with a flexible spending account, health saving account, and/or health
reimbursement account.
Can I still have Therapy Without Insurance?
If you don’t currently have insurance, you are able still to receive therapy at the Self -Pay rate. Our current Self-Pay rates are $150 for the initial evaluation and $100 for each subsequent treatment visit.
